The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a standardized test designed to assess the language proficiency of non-native English speakers. It is accepted by many academic institutions, employers, and immigration authorities in English-speaking countries, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and the USA. The test assesses four language skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking, and is scored on a band scale from 0 to 9. A higher IELTS score can help individuals meet the language requirements needed for work, study, or migration to an English-speaking country.
There is no set IELTS exam eligibility for the age of the candidates. Anyone can take the IELTS test irrespective of age, gender, race, nationality, or religion, however, the IELTS test is not recommended for those below 16 years of age.
